    Function

    Grants Management strives to protect the interests of Pima County by affording centralized coordination of all grant activity for County departments.

    Description of Services

    The Grants Management Division provides advice and support on all grant-related matters.

    Services provided by Grants Management include:
    • Grant budget development, monitoring, and projections
    • Grant financial transactions including accounting entries, cash flow reporting, and expense monitoring
    • Grant reimbursement requests
    • Grant fiscal record keeping
    • Grant fiscal reporting
    • Review of grant purchases for allocability
    • Grant fiscal close-out activities
    • Coordination of the annual Schedule of Expenditure of Federal Awards and Single Audit
    • Audit assistance
    • Coordination of corrective action plans for audit deficiencies
    • Serve as a technical resource to County departments seeking grant management policy guidance
    • Fiscal monitoring of Pima County Grant Sub-recipients

    Program Goals and Objectives

  • Provide excellent service to all customers and employees.
  • Assist departments that have received grants to maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Program laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Ensure that Pima County receives clean audits of its grant programs.
