Tour of Historic Canoa Ranch
Join a walking tour of the Canoa Ranch headquarters. Visit the historic buildings and corrals and enjoy the special exhibits of the people of Canoa. All ages welcome. Free with Membership, Non-Member $5 fee. Online registration required.

Anza Tour at Historic Canoa Ranch
Learn about Colonel Juan Bautista de Anza and the group of Spanish colonial settlers who, in 1775, made their first stop at Canoa Ranch as they began an epic 1200-mile journey from Sonora, New Spain to colonize the port of what is now San Francisco. A 5-mile segment of the Juan Bautista de Anza National Historic Trail extends through Historic Canoa Ranch. All ages welcome. Free with Membership, Non-Member $5 fee. Online registration required.

Restoration Tour
From deteriorating ruins to functional buildings: take a behind-the-scenes tour with Architectural Preservationist Simon Herbert to examine the processes and materials used in the restoration of the structures at Historic Canoa Ranch. All ages welcome. Free with Membership, Non-Member $5 fee. Online registration required.

Gardens of Canoa
Enjoy a guided tour of the gardens of Historic Canoa Ranch with Raydine Taber from the Green Valley Gardeners. All ages welcome. Free with Membership, Non-Member $5 fee. Online registration required.

Birding Canoa Ranch
Join birding enthusiast Brian Nicholas to see a wide variety of sparrows, raptors, and the possibility of waterfowl on the pond at Historic Canoa Ranch. All ages welcome. Free with Membership, Non-Member $5 fee. Online registration required.

Shorebird Workshop
Shorebirds are a diverse group and include such birds as plovers, sandpipers, curlews, gulls, terns, and more. They are also full of contradictions; some make epic migrations while others are fairly sedentary, in some species males are less colorful than females and take on all of the responsibilities for raising their young. This workshop explores these intriguing birds, including tips on how to identify members of this challenging group. Ages 12 and up. $10 with Membership, Non-Member $15 fee. Prickly Pear Workshop
Enjoy the bounty of the desert as we prepare the sweet and succulent fruit of the prickly pear cactus. 1st Canoa Cup Collector Car Show Fundraiser
Enjoy Classic Cars in a Classic Venue! Enjoy collector cars, live music DJ, food trucks, drinks, raffle, vendors and more! Buildings and exhibits will be open to the public. $5 general admission. All proceeds go towards the restoration of the Tradesman House for a new Visitor Center.

Explore a 2 to 3-mile section of the Anza Trail during an easy level interpretive hike and discover the cultural and natural history of the Santa Cruz River Valley. Following the hike there will be an optional tour of the historic Canoa Ranch headquarters. Ages 12 and up. Free with Membership, Non-Member $5 fee. Online registration required.

Butterfly Biology Workshop
Butterflies are the world’s most popular insects. This workshop explores the diversity of butterflies, as well as, their life cycle, the miracle of metamorphosis, foods of adults and caterpillars, migration, and identification. Attracting butterflies to your yard will also be discussed. Ages 12 and up. $10 with Membership, Non-Member $15 fee. Online registration required.

Green Valley Concert Band at Canoa
Enjoy the artistry and musical sound of the all – volunteer Green Valley Concert Band under the direction of Dr. John Snavely! Please bring a folding chair. $10 per person.
