  • Community Outreach

Pima Animal Care Center offers an exciting educational program designed to create a partnership with schools and community groups in Pima County. The goal is to empower students with knowledge of how to be responsible pet owners in order to reduce the number of unwanted pets, strays, dog bites and abandoned animals in the community.

PACC offers FREE 30-60 minute educational programs developed for specific grade levels. Presenters, with or without their canine companions, are available to come into the classroom or meeting to provide educational presentations on the following topics:

    • Dog bite prevention
    • Responsible pet ownership
    • Animal welfare issues

Other topics are available to be added to the presentation upon request. Call (520) 243-5906 or email a request to PACC's Outreach Coordinator to sign up today. Since there are a limited number of presenters, requests for educational presentations are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
