The Pima County Health Care Benefits Trust was established in 2013. The Board consists of five Trustees. One Trustee shall be an employee of the County and is currently the Director of Human Resources who will remain a Trustee for the first three year term. Trustees meet no less than four times per Plan Year. The Trustees serve as an advisory to the Board of Supervisors regarding the Trust Fund and will submit annual reports to the Board through the County Administrator and make recommendations as they deem appropriate regarding Fund management.
The first meeting of the Board will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2013, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am and the meeting will be held at Pima County Administration West, 150 W. Congress, 4th Floor, Human Resources Training Room. Subsequent meetings will reoccur on the second Tuesday of every third month beginning February 13, 2014. The February 13th meeting is scheduled from 9:00 am to 10:30 am and will be held at Pima County Administration West, 150 W. Congress, 4th Floor, Human Resources Training Room.
