    Program: On-site Biometric Screening  
    Description:

    It’s always important to keep your health and wellness top of mind. Awareness is the first step in maintaining and monitoring your health. A biometric screening allows first time and repeat participants the opportunity to get a quick and easy “snapshot” of your health.

    Your screening will include the following:

    • Total Cholesterol
    • Glucose
    • Blood Pressure
    • Body Mass Index (BMI)

    Who can participate? For the 2017 Event: Only active Pima County employees who are enrolled in Pima County’s Aetna medical plan and have not already completed an eligible preventive exam between March 1, 2016 and February 28, 2017 are eligible for the free health screening.

    Note: There are 6 appointments scheduled every 15-minutes. You will be checked-in according to your appointment and will be seen within your allotted time slot.

    Eligible walk-ins will only be taken if there is availability.

    How to prepare for the biometric screening event:

    • You DO NOT need to fast.
    • DO take all medications as directed by your physician(s) as you normally would.
    • DO drink plenty of water before your screening to stay hydrated.
    • DO wear a loose fitting shirt that allows you to roll up your sleeve for a blood pressure check.
