  • Supervisors set FY 2020 budget hearing schedule

    The Pima County Board of Supervisors March 5 voted 5-0 to adopt the Fiscal Year 2020 County Budget Hearing Schedule. The Board will hear presentations from the heads of all county departments, including elected officials, on their FY 2020 budget requests. 

    The first hearing is May 7 at 1:30 p.m. with the following departments tentatively scheduled to present:
    • Constables
    • Clerk of the Superior Court
    • Sheriff
    • Superior Court
    • Juvenile Court 
    • Justice Courts

    May 14 starting at 9 a.m., breaking for lunch at noon and resuming at 1:30 p.m.

    • Assessor
    • Public Defense Services
    • Office of Emergency Management
    • PCWIN
    • Elections
    • Facilities Management 
    • Fleet Services
    • Recorder
    • Treasurer
    • Finance and Risk Management
    • Human Resources

    • Analytics and Data Governance

    May 15 starting at 9 a.m., breaking for lunch at noon and resuming at 1:30 p.m.

    Tentative FY 2020 budget adoption is scheduled to be considered by the Board at its May 21 meeting. Final budget adoption is scheduled for June 18.
