Do I need a permit?

Construction of new buildings/structures including additions, remodeling and manufactured building placement or relocation require a building permit unless exempt in below list of common projects.  Please note that this list only provides some general examples and that a permit may still be required based on specifics of a given project.  Examples of special cases would include compliance with the Native Plant Preservation Ordinance (NPPO) and the Buffer Overlay Zone Ordinance (BOZO). This list is not applicable if your project is located in a Floodplain. The determination of whether or not your property is in the Floodplain is made by the Regional Flood Control Districtict who can be reached at (520) 724-4600.
