Ranch House Visitor Center and Art Gallery

November – April , Wednesday – Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Closed all County holidays.

March 16 – April 10: Paint Out in the Parks, an exhibition of plein air works of selected Pima County park locations by the Sonoran Plein Air Painters.

There are no public programs and gallery exhibitions scheduled between May 5 and June 30, while the pond restoration project is in progress.

All ages are welcome. Online registration for Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation Activities is required unless otherwise noted. Birding Agua Caliente Park
Take a guided walk to see a variety of birds, including waterfowl, raptors, sparrows, and many others. Loaner binoculars available. All ages welcome. Free with Membership, Non-Member $5 fee. Online registration required.

Flycatcher ID Workshop
New World Flycatchers are the most diverse family of birds on earth and are a study in contrasts. Within that diversity are significant identification challenges. This workshop will teach techniques to better identify these birds without giving up in frustration. Ages 12 and up. $10 with Membership, Non-Member $15 fee. Online registration required.

Owl Stalk
Pima County Naturalist Jeff Babson provides a brief overview of owl biology and then leads the group in search of owls. Age 12 and up. Free with Membership, Non-Member $5 fee. Online registration required.

Nuts about Nature Preschool Hour at Agua Caliente Park 
Join us for child-friendly fun as we learn about nature through stories, crafts, and games. Explore a new nature topic each month. Children ages 3-5 with an adult companion. Children free. Adults free with Membership, Non-Member Adult $5 fee. Online registration required.
Friday, April 19 • 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Stargazing Agua Caliente Park
Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association volunteers provide an introduction to the night sky and set up telescopes for celestial viewing. Feel free to bring your lawn chair. All ages welcome. Free. Registration not required. Weather permitting.
