The Arivaca Community Center is available for fund raisers, performances, concerts, meetings, dinners, and special events. Call 398-3010.

After-School Program

Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation facilities are not licensed childcare facilities under section 36-882 of A.R.S. The school-age youth programs are “at will” drop in programs and youth enrolled in the programs may come and go of their own volition.

The after-school program is for children ages 5-12. 5-year-olds must be enrolled in elementary school. Activities include homework help, reading program, group games, sports, arts and crafts, board and table games, special events, and more. The program is free except for some special events. Please contact the community center for more information or for dates and times check our online registration.
 

Summer Program

June-July
The summer recreation program offered June and July, is for children entering 1st through 6th grade in the 2019/2020 school year. Activities include indoor and outdoor recreation, reading program, group games, sports, arts and crafts, board and table games, special events, guest speakers, field trips, environmental education and more. The program is free except for some special events. Please contact the community center for more information or for dates and times check our online registration.

Tween/Teen Nites

One Friday per month 
Alternating every other month. Tween Nite is for 10-12 year olds, and Teen Nite is for 13 and up. Activities include sports, games, crafts, bbq’s, campfires, lazer tag, and some field trips. A great place to hang out with peers in a safe and fun environment.

Junior Staff in Training Program

This program is designed to help teens experience some real on the job training and to gain important life skills beneficial to joining the work force. This is a volunteer opportunity which involves learning to lead activities, resolve conflict, communicate clearly, be adaptable, be interviewed, and receive feedback from the center coordinator. seniorsCommunity/Family Night

One event each month
Activities include special events, camp outs, volleyball games, arts and crafts, BBQs, campfires, sing-a-longs, potlucks, group projects, environmental activities, health and safety workshops, and a parenting network, all designed to bring families together to spend quality time.
Free, except for special events.
  

Arivaca Pickleball Club

Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8-10 a.m.
Beginner and advanced players are welcome!

seniors paintArivaca Senior Program- Friends Over 50 

The seniors in Arivaca love to go places. Trips are always educational, and involve food and nature. Join this fun 
loving group, for a great time, one trip per month. Free except admission fees and lunch.

Adult Enrichment Classes

Enjoy a variety of Meaningful Moments crafts workshops and socialize with other Friends Over 50. Potluck lunches also.
3 week sessions: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Family Game Nite

One Sunday per month from 4-7 p.m. We will get together to play board games. Some of the favorites are: Mexican Train Dominos, Scrabble, Canasta, Pictionary and Spades. Join the fun! Potluck dinner is enjoyed by all.
