Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Robles Ranch Community Center dates back to the 1880's when the ranch house was established as a stage stop. From the mid 1880's onward the ranch grew to over one million acres, making it one of the largest ranches in Southern Arizona.

Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation facilities are not licensed childcare facilities under section 36-882 of A.R.S. The school-age youth programs are “at will” drop in programs and youth enrolled in the programs may come and go of their own volition.

The after-school program is for children ages 5-13. 5-year-olds must be enrolled in elementary school. Activities include homework help, reading program, group games, sports, arts and crafts, board and table games, special events, and more. The program is free except for some special events. Please contact the community center for more information or for dates and times check our online registration.

senior tripJ.O.Y. (Just Older Youth) Senior Program

Come meet new friends and socialize while enjoying a variety of activities including, billiards, arts and crafts, health and nutrition education, bingo, movie days, and special events.

The J.O.Y. program is for those that are young at heart and are age 50 and over. However to participate in the lunch program you must be 60 and over. If you are under 60, you may bring a lunch to join in at lunchtime.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 10:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m., lunch is served at noon. Business meetings are at 11:00 a.m. on the third Wednesday of each month.

Funded by Arizona Department of Economic Security, Aging and Adult Administration, Pima Council on Aging, and Seniors Contributions.

University of Arizona Cooperative Extension

Bringing the University to the People
Outreach nutrition education classes once a month with the J.O.Y. Senior program.
Summer “Wildcat” cooking classes with the summer youth program teaching meal planning, cooking nutrition, manners and etiquette for ages 5-13 years.
