    If you are behind more than one month in your mortgage payment, please contact (520) 792-3087 or visit the website.

    You may be referred to a Housing Counseling Agency for housing counseling services.

    In order to apply for basic assistance services with the Community Action Agency, you will need the following documentation:

    Utility Assistance Required Documents

    • Utility Bills (Electric, Gas)
    • Applicant's Picture I.D.
    • Applicant's Proof of Citizenship (birth certificate, naturalization papers, permanent resident card, passport
    • Social Security cards for all household members
    • Proof of all household income for the past 30 days (pay stubs, current award letters, etc.)

    Rent/Mortgage Assistance Required Documents 

    • Documentation to support your crisis as to what caused you to get behind in your rent/mortgage. (One month assistance is provided.
    • No late fees are paid. You must be able to show you have income to maintain your rent/mortgage.
    • Eviction/late notice (Rent)
    • Statement/coupon showing mortgage is late
    • Applicant's Picture I.D.
    • Social Security cards for all household members
    • Birth certificates for children 17 and under
    • Proof of all household income for the past 30 days (pay stubs, current award letters, etc.)
