    About Supervisor Miller

    Supervisor Ally Miller is currently serving her first term as a member of the Pima County Board of Supervisors representing District 1. Supervisor Miller was elected to represent District 1 on November 7, 2012, and began serving her term on January 1, 2013.

    Supervisor Miller received her B.S. in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Arizona and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Arizona Eller School of Management. Her professional experience includes 10 years in the aerospace industry working in finance and accounting, and as a systems engineer in the semiconductor industry. Supervisor Miller has been applying her private sector experience to the public sector.

    Supervisor Miller has been active in community politics for many years and has worked as a volunteer on several campaigns. She served as an elected Republican precinct committeewoman for many years. Supervisor Miller is a native of Vermont and has lived in Pima County for more than 30 years.

    District 1 encompasses over 245 square miles of the distinctive urban areas north of Tucson.

    The District extends from the area north of the Rillito River, south of the Pima-Pinal county line, east of Interstate 10, and from one to three miles east of Sabino Canyon Road. It includes the Town of Oro Valley and the eastern portion of Marana, and unincorporated communities such as the Catalina Foothills, Tortolita, Casa Adobes, and Catalina.

    District 1 is the home to more than 196,000 residents where the western way of life remains alive and well.
