Lil’ Reckers
This 6 week program is offered in 4 different sessions throughout the school year, for children ages 3-5 years who are toilet trained. A variety of classes are offered which include activities such as arts and crafts, music, story time, nutrition education, early learning skills, socialization, sports skills, active games, science, and much more.
Parent must accompany the child and remain on premises during the entire program. Additional parent programming available. Please contact the community center for more information or for dates and times check our

After-School Program

Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation facilities are not licensed childcare facilities under section 36-882 of A.R.S.
The school-age youth programs are “at will” drop in programs and youth enrolled in the programs may come and go of their own volition.
The after-school program is for children ages 5-12. 5-year-olds must be enrolled in elementary school. Activities include homework help, reading program, group games, sports, arts and crafts, board and table games, special events, and more. The program is free except for some special events. Summer Recreation Program
The summer recreation program offered June and July, is for children
entering 1st through 6th grade in the 2019/2020 school year. Activities include indoor and outdoor recreation, reading program, group games, sports, arts and crafts, board and table games, special events, guest speakers, field trips, environmental education and more. 6,7 Club
This after-school drop-in program is geared to the interests of youth in the 6th and 7th grades. Enjoy activities such as flag football, basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, e-gaming, pool and a variety of tournaments. Learn about cooking, are and cultures. Homework help is available.
Enhance Fitness
Instructor: Joanna Dinan
Exercise for participants 60 years or older that wish to improve balance, strength and cardio health. Come in and talk to us about the class on a class day shortly before or after scheduled class time.
Classes: Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Computer Lab
Computers are available in the senior lounge for adults 50 and older. Computers are available for all ages at the Flowing Wells Library located across the street.
Senior Nutrition Program
This program offers nutritious meals for older adults giving them the opportunity to dine with others and take part in social, recreational, and educational activities. Registration is required. Program is sponsored by Pima Council on Aging. A $2.00 donation requested for lunch.
Lunch: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Lunch is served at noon.

Card games are played each afternoon in the Senior Lounge starting at 12:30 p.m. A senior Mahjong group meets on Tuesday afternoons at 1:00 p.m.

ACES
ACES offers group activities, recreational programs and volunteer opportunities to Pima County adults age 50 and older. Our goal is to provide a variety of pleasurable experiences that will enrich and enhance the social, educational and physical well being of all who participate in ACES. ACES provides social interaction through games, luncheons with entertainment, day and overnight trips, theater presentations, movies and the opportunity to take part in community service projects.
ACES encourages volunteerism as a form of recreation. Members are actively involved in collecting items for Youth on Their Own and provide assistance to schools. ACES provides baby bonnets for newborns at Northwest Hospital and volunteer for a number of county and city special events that are in need of assistance.
Business meetings and activity registration
First Tuesday of every month, 10:30 a.m.
Meetings are held in the ACES room with monthly activity registrations beginning at 10:00 a.m. Activity registration is open at all. You do not need to be a member of the ACES program to participate in any of the activities offered.
