NIGHT WORK ON MAGEE ROAD – LA CAÑADA DRIVE TO ORACLE ROAD

Pima County, Ariz. (July 2) – The Pima County Department of Transportation, the Regional Transportation Authority, and their contractor, Select Development, would like to inform the public about night work on Phase 3 (La Cañada Drive to Oracle Road) of the Cortaro Farms/Magee Road: Thornydale Road to Oracle Road Improvement Project.

Starting Wednesday, July 2, 2014, Select Development and Tucson Water will be working from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. installing water lines between La Cañada Drive and Vamori Drive. This night work is necessary so that it does not disrupt the daily delivery of water to businesses along the corridor. Work should be completed by Thursday at 7 a.m.

The Pima County Department of Transportation reminds motorists to obey traffic control signs and speed limits through the construction zone.

In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.

For more information, contact Annabelle Valenzuela, Program Manager, at (520) 724-6410 or visit the Cortaro and Magee project.
