Sinkholes along The LoopRecent rains have apparently caused two sinkholes between the eastbound Interstate 10 frontage road and the Santa Cruz River segment of The Loop south of Ted Walker Park.

The Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department has selected KE&G to repair the area. Barricades have been placed on-site and in the general area.

KE&G is expected to begin repair work on Monday, July 28. In the event of substantial rains before that, the repair schedule may change.

Users of The Loop are encouraged to use caution in the area.
