Pima County Recorder F. Ann Rodriguez would like to remind Pima County voters that the deadline to order a ballot to be sent to their homes is fast approaching. All vote-by-mail ballot requests must be received by the Recorder’s office no later than 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2014.

To order your vote-by-mail ballot, visit the Pima County Recorder’s website at www.recorder.pima.gov and click on the link for “Early Ballot Request.”

You may also order a ballot by phone at (520) 724-4330; out-of-towners may call the toll free number at (800) 775-7462 and ask for extension 44330.

Voters who are registered as Independent or Party Not Designated may vote in the upcoming August 26, 2014, primary by selecting ONE political party ballot they wish to vote: Democrat, Republican, Libertarian, Americans Elect or Green party candidates.

“Independent voters are missing out on this opportunity and could have a very large influence in some contested primary races,” Ms. Rodrigue said.
