The project included build-out of tenant improvements for the University of Arizona’s Collaboratory on the 3rd floor of the Herbert K. Abrams Public Health Center. Office Suite 330 now has 12,000 square feet with new hard wall offices and exam and testing rooms. The UA Collaboratory performs research into diabetes and nutrition in conjunction with other UA departments.
Locating the Collaboratory in the Abrams Public Health Center will help develop better nutritional programs already established on this health campus. Their work coordinates with the diabetes clinic work, which is located on the first floor of the building.
As part of this project, it was necessary to relocate the Office of Children’s Council into the west end of the 3rd floor. The new Suite 370 allowed the UA Collaboratory to have a more direct and visible public entrance off the 3rd floor building lobby.
