  • Please use The Loop on the Santa Cruz east bank during west bank path replacement and repaving

    Two large damaged sections of The Loop will be removed and replaced along the west bank of the Santa Cruz River between Grant Road and El Camino Del Cerro this week.

    Santa Cruz River pathThis work will occur primarily on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

    During the week of Oct. 27, 2014, repaving work will begin on the west bank path between Grant Road and St. Mary’s Road. This work is expected to take approximately two weeks.

    While this work is underway, path users are encouraged to use the east bank path in these sections and observe detour signing and construction notifications.

    The work is part of a larger 11.5-mile pavement rehabilitation project along the Santa Cruz River portion of The Loop between the Cañada del Oro Wash and 29th Street.
