Pima County and its contractor, Granite Construction, are hard at work, trying to complete the Julian Wash Greenway path between Alvernon Way and the Tucson Diversion Channel in time for our Nov. 1 celebration.

Julian Wash constructionBut heavy equipment operators can’t work when cyclists and pedestrians are on the path. It is a construction site, not ready for riding, walking or running.

Please help by staying away from the area.

Save your enthusiasm for Saturday, Nov. 1, and join us at the Julian Wash Greenway celebration.

The new 2.7-mile stretch is funded by the Community Healthcare Benefit Foundation of Pima County, which includes Tucson Medical Center and Carondelet Health Network, and is a community group effort to improve health and fitness outcomes in the region.
