The Loop shared-use path on the north bank of the Rillito River at Rillito Regional Park will be closed from 7 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, until 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, for placement of a comfort station/restroom.

Loop users are encouraged to cross over to the path on the south bank of the Rillito during this period. The Mountain Avenue bicycle and pedestrian bridge is east of the construction site. The First Avenue and Stone Avenue bridges west of the construction site have bike lanes and access to and from The Loop.

Pima County is developing a site for a farmers market in the southeast corner of Rillito Regional Park, 4502 N. First Ave. The site will include a 12-foot-wide paved path about 600 feet long with three 110-foot-long ramadas to shade shoppers. Vendors will set up in gravel areas along the paved pathway.

The marketplace is expected to be completed this month.
