Pima ProspersPima County has published a new draft of Pima Prospers, the 10-year update of the county’s Comprehensive Plan, incorporating public feedback received over the past year at 25 community meetings, from online comments at www.pimaprospers.com and during presentations to many groups and associations throughout the county.

To review this latest draft, Pima County staff invites the public to:
    • Attend any of eight upcoming public meetings to hear a presentation on the plan, participate in discussions and share their comments.
    • Review the second draft plan and share their comments at www.pimaprospers.com. Comments online, or otherwise, must be received by the end of the year for consideration for inclusion in the next draft of the plan, which will be presented to the Pima County Planning and Zoning Commission at public hearings on Feb. 18 and 25, 2015.
The Comprehensive Plan will be used to guide the region’s growth, conservation and community design for decades to come. It is truly comprehensive in nature, addressing most services of the county. The goal is approval by the Pima County Board of Supervisors in 2015.
