    people at health fairThe deadline to enroll in a health plan through the Affordable Care Act is Feb. 15. To help those who haven’t signed up yet, the Tucson Unified School District and the Pima County Health Department will host a Health and Enrollment Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 7 at Tucson High School, 400 N. 2nd Ave.

    Representatives from the Pima County Enrollment Coalition who are trained to assist with the ACA enrollment process will be available.  Those wanting to set up an appointment can call 1-800-377-3536, but appointments are not required.  

    Public health nurses will be providing flu shots and MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccination at no cost for children 17 years old and younger and for uninsured adults. If possible, please bring your child’s immunization record.  

    Additionally, all who attend are eligible to win a free iPad, but you must be present to win.  There will be many other services and information available during the event as well as food trucks, mobile health units, and TUSD student performances.
