Health Department wants to hear your COVID stories

The Pima County Health Department has worked diligently over the past several months to educate people on the preventative measures they should take to slow the spread of COVID-19. Sadly, the virus continues to run rampant in our community.
Folks need to wear face masks and take the recommendations to heart because people really are getting sick.
This virus knows no bounds and is affecting people of all ages – maybe it’s even hit home for some of you. As an additional plea to the community, the Health Department is looking for volunteers who would be willing to share their personal COVID-19 stories as part of a public service announcement media campaign that shows COVID-19 is real and it is impacting people we know and love.

If you, or someone you know, would be interested in participating in this media campaign, please email Marcia Zamorano for more details. Your stories would be used in TV, cable, radio and social media advertising to help convince skeptical people that wearing face masks help slow the spread of COVID-19.
