    Kino Veterans' Workforce Center

    Pima County One-Stop opened the Kino Veterans Workforce Center in 2012 to provide needed support services for veterans and to help them find jobs, get training and access benefits.

    No one person or agency can do it all, so we formed veteran-centric partnerships using the Pima County One-Stop model, which allows partners to bring their expertise to assist veterans and their families while working with employers to hire veterans.

    Our services:

    Kino Veterans Workforce Center
    • Peer support, networking clubs, computer labs and office equipment to support training and job searches
    • Career counseling and job-search assistance, including help with resumes; skill and aptitude assessments; and interview techniques
    • Benefits counseling and claims assistance for education, medical care, disability, behavioral health services and recovery
    • Assistance with housing and other basic needs
    • Adult education, tutoring and study-skills workshops; occupational skills training; and on-the-job training partnerships
    • Assistance with tools, uniforms and other job necessities
