The Theresa Lee Public Health Center, located at 1493 Commerce Court near Midvale and Valencia roads is a 12,000 square foot facility which replaces two separate public health clinics, the Theresa Lee Clinic, 332 S. Freeway, and the Walter C. Rogers Clinic, 175 W. Irvington Road.
Services will include family planning, sexually transmitted disease screening and treatment and Well Woman Healthcheck services (including breast and cervical cancer screenings).
The new center will feature an electronic records management system that will allow more comprehensive care for clients.
Thirty-two percent of all clients receiving clinical services through the Health Department reside within the zip code areas immediately surrounding the new location.
As part of the project, the TB clinic was relocated from the downtown office to the Kino Campus at Ajo Way.
