On Thursday, August 20, Pima County Department of Transportation, the Regional Transportation Authority and their contractor, KE&G Construction Inc., will be shifting traffic on Valencia Road for final roadway configuration.

Traffic for westbound will be shifted to the north side of Valencia Road (new westbound lanes) eastbound traffic will remain in place. Traffic will continue to be one lane in each direction as crews continue to complete work on the medians and shoulders.

The speed limit through the construction zone is 25 mph. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices.

In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.
