Mexican baseballSpring Baseball continues with three Mexican baseball leagues, the Toros de Tijuana, Rojos del Aguila de Veracruz, and the Pericos de Puebla, who have selected Kino’s facilities for their spring training camp. During camp, two teams will play in several exhibition games, open to the public, at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium, 2500 E. Ajo Way.

The Toros de Tijuana take the mound first, March 9-12, in three games against the Texas Rangers and the German National Team, who will visit Kino Sports Complex for the first time. The German team will also practice here from March 8-12 thanks to the Arizona International Baseball Consortium, a local organization whose mission is to facilitate play opportunities for national and international pro and amateur baseball teams.

Then from March 14-26, the Tijuana Toros will face the Triple-A team, Pericos de Puebla, in nine exhibition games. All games include free admission and parking.
