     Join the Pima County team as a participant today for the American Heart Association's Heart Walk on Sunday, April 3rd at Reid Park.

    The event includes a 5k Heart Walk, a 1 mile Stroke Walk, Route Entertainers and a Sponsor Festival Area with everything from Memorial and Survivor Tents to VIP and Kid's Zone. We welcome walkers of all ages, pets on leashes, and wheels of all sorts (strollers, bikes, rollerblades, etc.).

    Sunday, April 3rd at Reid Park (3400 Zoo Court, Tucson AZ 85716)

    • 7:00 am — Registration & Torch Decoration
    • 8:00 am — Opening Ceremonies 8:30 am — 5k Heart Walk, 1 mile Stroke Walk
    • 9:00 am — Healthy Heart Festival 

    You can be the difference! Cardio vascular disease and stroke are the #1 killers of Americans. None of us is unaffected and your participation can help support, educate, motivate and engage members of our community into action.

    Starting or joining a Pima County team is easy. Just visit http://heartwalk.kintera.org/tucsonaz/pimacounty. From there, you can join one of the available Pima County teams or you can create a new team.

    By participating in the Tucson Heart Walk or other community events you are showing pride in both your work and your community. Take the Community Volunteer/Participation Form with you to get Healthy Lifestyle Activity Points (HLAPs) for volunteering or participating in community events. You may earn up to 25 total HLAPs each fiscal year.
