KFMA DayThe 17th annual KFMA Day, southern Arizona’s largest outdoor concert festival, returns to Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium April 16.

Folks can purchase advance tickets at any Tucson-area Pizza Hut through April 15 for $39. An additional $2 surcharge per ticket will apply if paid with debit or credit card. On the day of the concert, tickets will only be available at the Kino Box Office starting at 10:30 a.m.

The parking lot will open at 9 a.m. and a $5 parking fee will apply. Gates open at noon. Entertainment includes performances by Disturbed, Shinedown, Meg Myers, Highly Suspect, Red Sun Rising, SWMRS, Endless Pursuit, and post-event fireworks.

Effective April 1, Kino Sports Complex started a clear bag policy that restricts the size and type of bag visitors can bring to events held at Kino Sports Complex. The following is a list of acceptable bags:
A clear plastic of vinyl bag that does not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”.
A one-gallon sized clear plastic bag.
A small clutch bag, (no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”). Security will search these bags at the entrance.
Security will make exceptions for medically necessary items after proper inspection. This includes, but is not limited to, oxygen tanks, diabetes kits, and allergy pens.

The “no food and beverage policy” will remain in effect. In addition, everyone is subject to search by Security upon entry.

To make the transition as convenient as possible, Kino Sports Complex will provide clear Ziploc bags at Gate A for KFMA Day. To find more details about this event, including rules and guidelines for the concert and Kino Sports Complex’ full clear bag policy, visit KFMA’s website
