Find PACC pets at Adopt Love, Adopt LocalPima Animal Care Center will participate in Adopt Love, Adopt Local, a one-day mega pet adoption event coming to the Tucson Expo Center, 3750 E. Irvington Rd, April 16 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This event brings together local organizations and animal rescue groups that, like PACC, focus on finding loving homes for our community’s homeless pets. It’s organized by the Pima Alliance for Animal Welfare, an initiative of the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona, which PACC is part of.

Each year, PACC takes in close to 20,000 and never turns away a pet in need. As such, it is Southern Arizona’s largest pet adoption agency with the most selection of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens year round.

Adoption fees for PACC pets on the day of the event will range from $0 to $50, depending on the furry friend you pick. In addition, all pets will come with age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, and with a free vet visit, too. A $16 licensing fee will also apply to all adult dogs.

“We’re happy to support this effort and encourage the community to go out this weekend,” said Justin Gallick, PACC’s executive director of community engagement. “Because each one of our pets, and every homeless pet in our community, deserves to find their forever home.”
