  • New Office of Emergency Management site serves as one-stop

    Emergency AlertsThe Pima County Office of Emergency Management has launched a new website to provide valuable information for the public during emergency situations both local and regional. 

    Pima County Emergency Alerts will serve as a one-stop for the public and media to access real-time information at critical times and for additional planning and preparedness resources on a continuous basis. 

    During emergencies, the website will be tailored to provided incident specific information such as weather conditions, utility outages, and public health and other alerts from Pima County and our partners including federal, state and local agencies and utilities. An RSS feed of local news is also included on the page for real-time news updates and social media feeds. 

    In addition to current incident information, the site includes links to information on how to prepare your family, home or business for an emergency. Users can easily access sites such as Ready.gov, which provide handy resources on the basics of disaster supply kits, emergency communication plans and more.

    Pima County Office of Emergency Management is mandated by Arizona Revised Statute §26-311 and works to prevent the loss of life and reduce property damage due to man-made, technological, and natural disasters through protection, prevention, mitigation, response and recovery mission areas.
