Kino Sports Complex will hit it out of the park this Fourth of July with its Diamonds in the Sky celebration presented by
KOLD and
KZLZ La Poderosa featuring the
Tucson Saguaros baseball team and a post-game fireworks spectacular.
Watch the Tucson Saguaros take on the Roswell Invaders at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium, 2500 E. Ajo Way. The celebration will include music provided by KZLZ, food, giveaways, fun for the kids, and a post-game fireworks show.
Buy your general admission tickets for $4 on the
Tucson Saguaros website or at the Kino Stadium Box Office, 2500 E. Ajo Way. Kids, ages five and under are free. Box Office tickets will be sold July 2 – 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. In addition to general admission tickets, the Box Office will offer $3 discounted tickets for military and seniors with valid ID and 5 for $15 group tickets. All tickets purchased in advance will include free parking.
Arrive early to get a good seat and enjoy pre-game entertainment. Seating is first-come, first-served. Stadium gates open at 6 p.m. and the game starts at 7 p.m.
While the game goes on, kids can let loose in the Kid Zone, which will have fun activities such as jumping castles, face painting, carnival games and more. Plus, after the game they can run the bases alongside the Tucson Saguaros mascot.
In addition to entertainment, the Stadium will offer $1 hot dogs, half-priced food concessions and beer all night long. They will also have food vendors, including eegees and Baskin Robins onsite.
The fireworks display will take place after the Tucson Saguaros game. They will be launched from the North Complex Stadium making them visible to everyone seated inside the stadium. Due to the fireworks, the entire North Complex area will be closed to the public.
The Stadium’s
clear bag policy and no outside food and beverage policy will remain in effect during this event. Visitors must bring personal items inside a clear plastic vinyl bag that does not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” or a small clutch bag no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”. In addition, they can bring one bottle of water per person.
