For the first time, after-school programs in Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation’s community centers will register online through the ActiveNet system. The summer recreation program was the first youth recreation program to go online earlier this year. Now, all other youth community center programs will move to online registration.

Session dates vary based on the school district in which the community center is located. Registration for Session One begins at 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 5. After-school Session Two registration will open at 6 a.m. Monday Dec. 5.  Registration for the KAPP (Kids and Parent Playtime) preschool program’s Session One will open at 6 a.m. on Aug. 1.

At this time, all programs are free and run from school dismissal until 6 p.m. at most locations. Registrants can connect to the ActiveNet registration system by visiting Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation website, and clicking on the “Register Now” button. There, they will find specifics on the program offerings at the site they are interested in.

Once inside the system, new users will need to create an account. The “Create an Account” link is located directly below the large “Sign In” button on center screen. Users then simply follow the on- screen prompts to set up a personalized account.
Benefits offered by the new online registration system include:
    • Keep track of you and your entire family’s activity schedule in one place.
    • Robust activity search – search by age, day, time, location, activity and more.
    • Enter your information once and the registration process will be as simple as point and click.
    • Mobile friendly registration – easily access your account on your tablet or mobile device.
    • Shopping cart allows multiple transactions all at once
    • ‘Wish List’ lets you save your classes before registration begins; once Registration opens you can simply add your wish list items to your cart.
