  • What you need to know about the Kino fireworks show

    Fourth of July at Kino Sports ComplexJoin us at the 4th of July Diamonds in the Sky Celebration where you can watch baseball and post-game fireworks from the comfort of your own seat with food and fun at your fingertips. This event, which is presented by KOLD, Kino Sports Complex and KZLZ’s La Poderosa will start at 6 p.m. at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium, 2500 E. Ajo Way. 

    Here’s everything you’ll need to know ahead of time to make sure you and your family have a great Fourth of July. 
    • What kind of entertainment can we expect?
      • A baseball game featuring the Tucson Saguaros and the Roswell Invaders of the Pecos League. The first pitch starts at 7 p.m.
      • A Kid Zone equipped with jumping castles, carnival games, face painting and other fun activities for the kids. 
      • A 30-minute fireworks display after the Tucson Saguaros game. 
    • Where do we buy tickets? 
      • Advance tickets available online through July 3 at the Tucson Saguaros website: Online transactions done via credit card.
      • Advance in-person tickets available at the Kino Stadium Box Office, 2500 E. Ajo Way on July 2 and July 3, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Pay with cash or credit card.
      • Purchase same-day tickets on July 4 at the Kino Stadium Box Office starting at 3 p.m. through the top of the 7th inning. Ticket sales subject to availability.
    • How much do tickets cost?
      • General admission tickets only $4.
      • Kids (5 and under) free.
      • Military and senior tickets $3 with valid ID. Discount offered only at Kino Stadium Box Office.
      • Group tickets 5 for $15. Discount offered only at Kino Stadium Box Office.
    • How much will it cost to park?
      • FREE parking with advance ticket purchase. Visitors must show ticket to the parking attendant to receive waiver. 
      • Visitors who do not have advance tickets will pay $2 for parking.
    • What can we bring into the Stadium?
      • Kino Sports Complex will enforce its Clear Bag Policy, which states that all items must be carried inside a clear bag that does not exceed 12” x 6” x 12” or the size of a one-gallon Ziploc bag or similar. Visit the Kino Sports Complex website for more details about the policy and restricted items.
    • Will Kino have a security gate check?
      • There will be security checks at the gate, which may include pat downs. Please read the Clear Bag Policy to see what items you’re allowed to bring in. 
    • What time do gates open?
      • Stadium Gate “A” for general admission opens at 6 p.m. The parking lot will open at 4:30 p.m.
    • Are there assigned seats?
      • No, all seating is general admission. First-come, first-served. 
    • Will there be ADA accommodations?
      • Yes, the top rows of all seating areas are designated for disabled guests and their families. Disabled guests who require assistance or access to the suites should visit Guest Services.
    • Will Kino Stadium require wristbands for alcohol purchase and consumption?
      • Yes, guests who wish to purchase and consume alcohol during the event must wear a wristband. Guests can obtain their wristbands at several designated ID areas within the Stadium.
    • Is there a designated smoking area inside the Stadium?
      • There will be a designated smoking area near the sand pit by the Stadium Clubhouse building. 
    • Are pets allowed?
      • Pets are NOT allowed inside the Stadium. The only exception will be for service animals. Stadium staff may ask guests with service animals what “service” the animal assists them with. All service animals must be on a leash.
    • Who are the Tucson Saguaros?
      • The Tucson Saguaros are the newest team of the Pecos League, which is a Rookie-level professional baseball league. Their home stadium is Kino Sports Complex. They’re currently ranked first in the South Division standings.
