The Manzanita Lighting and Improvements project is a two-phase project, including an emergency repair and upgrades to the electrical at the existing baseball field/ concessions area as well as a new accessible walking path throughout the park that acts as both a recreational trail and appropriate access to the existing park features such as the ball fields and courts.
This project created one of the most used community park features, a walking trail, and at the same time developed a new trail system, resulting in a brand new facility that meets ADA code throughout the park. Part of the new trail also expanded into a natural area, helping to create a desert experience for users.
The electrical upgrades were completed one year prior, but have greatly improved safety and usability at the concessions stand for the baseball community.
