    register to vote by Aug. 1The registration deadline to vote in the Aug. 30 Primary Election is rapidly approaching. All voters must register by midnight on Monday, Aug. 1.

    Anyone who has moved (even to a new apartment number in the same complex), changed their name since their last registration, just became a Pima County resident, or would like to change their party affiliation must complete a new voter registration form. 

    The Pima County Recorder's Office reminds voters they have several option to complete a voter registration form:
    • The easiest way is to visit the Arizona Department of Transportation & MVD services website and complete the registration online. Voters can access this site directly or through the Recorder’s website at the EZVoter link found under the "Registering to Vote" link on the right hand menu. The MVD must have your current address on file before you can use this option.
    • Pick up a form at multiple locations throughout Pima County.
      • Any Pima County Recorder’s office
      • Any Arizona Department of Motor Vehicle branch
      • All post offices and libraries, political party headquarters, and city/town halls.
    • Voters can also download a form directly from the Recorder’s website, complete it and mail it in.
    For more information on the voter registration cut-off date, voters may call the Pima County Recorder’s Office at (520) 724-4330. Out of town residents may call 1-800-775-7462 and ask for extension 4330. Although you cannot make changes to your voter registration over the phone, our staff can answer any questions voters may have.
