    Pima County Board of Supervisors
The Pima County Board of Supervisors today set the tax rates for all 94 taxing jurisdictions within Pima County, including school districts, fire districts, improvement districts and others.
The Board controls the rates and levies of only four of those jurisdictions: County Primary, County Debt Service, County Free Library District, and Regional Flood Control District. Other elected governing bodies or State law set the rates of the other 90 levies and the Board’s approval is statutory and purely functionary.

Monday’s vote allows the Pima County Treasurer’s Office to send out tax statements to all Pima County property owners.
At their June 21, 2016 and July 5, 2016 meetings, the Supervisors adopted the County’s budget for the 2016-2017 Fiscal Year. The plan called for combined primary and secondary tax rates amounting to $5.8852 per $100 of a property’s assessed value. That rate is $0.0780 lower than the previous year. Those levies will yield a projected $457,603,069 in revenue for the year.
