This project consisted of street lighting located in the southeastern portion of Myers Neighborhood. The neighborhood selected the project to help deter nighttime criminal activity. It was also developed to provide a safe pedestrian route for residents utilizing nearby Freedom Park during twilight and nighttime hours and for residents taking advantage of cooler evenings for exercise or socializing with neighbors. Lighting this portion of the neighborhood provides visibility 24 hours a day. A total of 23 lights were installed on Rosemont, Magnolia, Farwell, Cloverland, Beverly, Stem and Woodland Avenues, 30th Street and Ferry Drive.
