On Aug. 19, the
Pima County Elections Department will mail approximately 137,000 sample ballots for the Aug. 30 Primary Election to voter households that did not requested an early ballot.
Voters who are members of a political party will receive a sample ballot based on their party affiliation. Those registered as Independents, or Party Not Designated, will receive a sample ballot for each political party.
Those who did not register by the Aug. 1 deadline cannot participate in this election. To check if you’re registered, visit the Pima County Recorder’s Office website and click on the “
Check Your Registration” link. The site will populate the registered voter’s eligible election details and polling locations.
Registered voters who want to vote early, but did not request and early ballot can visit an early voting site through Aug. 26. The Recorder’s Office has several
early voting sites located throughout Pima County. Visit their website or call (520) 724-4330 to find a location near you.
Those who prefer to wait until Election Day to cast their vote, should locate their polling place in advance by reviewing the information on their sample ballot or by visiting the
Pima County Polling Place Locator. The polls will open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 30.
For additional voter information, including voter identification requirements, visit the
Elections Department webpage. Voters who have already mailed back their early ballots can track the status of their ballot by visiting the
Pima County Recorder’s Office website.
