PACCPima Animal Care Center (PACC) will host a three-day adoption event at four area PetSmart stores as part of PetSmart Charities® National Adoption Weekend, September 16 – 18.

The offsite adoption event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, with adoption fees waived for all pets, including puppies and kittens. All pets adopted from PACC will come spayed or neutered, with age-appropriate vaccinations, a microchip and a free vet visit. A standard $17 dog licensing fee will apply to all adult dogs.

This event was made possible by a $4,000 grant from PetSmart Charities. Over the last two years, PetSmart Charities has supported PACC’s mission of saving homeless pets by way of grant funding and providing offsite adoption locations across town to showcase some of PACC’s homeless pets. At the upcoming three-day event, PACC hopes to adopt out at least 100 pets from all four participating PetSmart stores.

“Thanks to the support from PetSmart Charities, we’re able to have events like this multiple times throughout the year to help our pets in need,” said Justin Gallick, PACC’s director of community engagement. “Visit a PetSmart store and help us make this event a successful one. We have hundreds of pets who need a new loving home.”

Find PACC dogs, cats, puppies and kittens from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., September 16-18, at:
    • PetSmart at Oracle & Wetmore
    • PetSmart at Grant & Swan
    • PetSmart at El Con Mall, between Home Depot and Target
    • PetSmart at Irvington & I-19
PACC will also honor the free adoption special at its shelter, 4000 N. Silverbell Rd. all weekend long. For more information and to see the adoptable pets, visit PACC’s webpage
