Leadership, Perseverance & Success Through the COVID-19 Pandemic

The Pima County Small Business Commission (PCSBC) is accepting nominations for the 2020 Small Business Awards program.

    New Eligibility Criteria for 2020

Since 2010, Pima County Small Business Awards have been presented to urban and rural small businesses and nonprofit organizations that had a positive impact on Pima County through economic investment, workforce training and development, maintaining rewarding workplace environments, community involvement, and improving lives of people served.

This year, the 2020 awards program is presented at a time of extreme duress for Pima County small businesses and nonprofits in a climate of constant change and uncertainty due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Consequently, the 2020 awards program has been revised to honor three (3) small businesses and/or nonprofits that have demonstrated outstanding qualities and actions of leadership, innovation and advocacy. At least one awardee selected in 2020 will be located outside of Tucson city limits. Each successful awardee will receive $500. Presentation of the 2020 Small Business Awards will be made at a Pima County Board of Supervisors meeting.
