    • Connecting them with resources for behavioral support for their pets
    • Providing supplies they may need to keep their pets or connecting them with other organizations that may be able to assist them with those supplies
    • Providing information about pet-friendly housing, helping them search for pet-friendly housing, and connecting them to housing resources
    • Providing them with other resources that may help them keep their pets happy, healthy, and in their home
    • Finding a new home for their pets by providing information and resources on rehoming pets

Why can't I just bring my pet to PACC and drop them off?

The healthiest, less stressful thing for your pet is to avoid coming into the shelter if possible. We know that there are some situations when pets have to come to PACC, but we ask that everyone discusses their options with the Pet Support Center first so that we can help you find the best outcome for your pet.

Our Pet Support Specialists will learn about your circumstances and will work with you to figure out what resources and options are available to you. If you and the Pet Support Specialist determine that coming to PACC is the safest and healthiest option for your pet, they will help you schedule an appointment to surrender them. If you'd like to discuss the options available for your pet, complete a Pet Support Survey and someone will get back to you within 24 to 48 hours.
