Our Pet Support Center is Here to Help!

What is the Pet Support Center?

The Pet Support Center is a phone-based resource for our community that strives to help people keep their pets. In addition to providing resources, information and counseling, we will be scheduling admission appointments for pet owners who decide they do need to surrender their pets to PACC. Call us at (520) 724-7222.

What types of information and resources is the Pet Support Center able to provide?

The Pet Support Center is able to provide information and resources for low-cost veterinary services, spay/neuter options, low-cost vaccinations, rescue options (both breed-specific and all breed), housing options and solutions, training and behavioral information, domestic violence services, military deployment services, trap - neuter - return services, as well as the humane euthanasia services provided here at PACC. Call us at (520) 724-7222.

Why does PACC schedule appointments for pets to come into the shelter?

By asking you to schedule an appointment to bring your pet in, it gives us a better chance to get to know you and your pet before entry and to tell you the ways we may be able to help you rehome your pet quickly or even keep your pet if you are facing barriers. We can typically schedule appointments quickly, and even if your situation is urgent, you should call us so that we can provide you the best route to rehoming your pet or resolving your issues so that you can keep your pet. Call us at (520) 724-7222.

    Pet Food Assistance

Cody's Friends is a 501(c)(3) non-profit started by 11th grader Cody Allen when he was 10 years old. Over 35 human service agencies and 75 animal rescue groups and shelters come to Cody’s Friends for pet food and supplies.

Because of the Tucson community’s support of our Cody’s Donation Station Program in over 35 local businesses, and our partnership with the Southern Arizona Community Food Bank, Cody’s Friends is able to support OVER 100 human and animal welfare organizations in Southern Arizona. That number continues to climb. The human service agencies provide pet food and supplies to thousands of people in need with animals. Often times, they are their only companion…their family. Contact them by emailing Codyscommunitypets@gmail.com
