  • Employees can now sign up for the new Emergency Alert and Mass Notification systems

During an emergency, urgent messaging can be effective only if it reaches you quickly. Pima County’s new mass notification system is designed to do just that.

Pima County’s Everbridge Mass Notification System can push messages to all kinds of devices, quickly and reliably, making it our go-to tool for keeping Pima County employees and our citizens informed. In the coming months, more County departments will begin using Everbridge internally to send emergency alerts and to push important information to employees, but we can’t reach you if you aren’t signed up.

For employees, the first step is to log into ADP and make sure your contact information is up to date and complete. Text messages are the best way to get information out fast, so if you use a county cell phone, please confirm your number is entered.

my alertsThat is the first way Everbridge will try to reach you. If you do not have a County cell phone, or if your personal cell phone is a better way to reach you, we encourage you to enter that into ADP as well.

The next step is to create a profile at MyAlerts.Pima.gov. You will be able to enter additional information like physical addresses, so you can receive emergency notifications that are specific to the areas where you live and work. Eventually, you will also be able to sign up through your profile for community notifications that meet your needs and interests.

Invite your family and friends to sign up as well. All they need to do is to create their own profiles is visit MyAlerts.Pima.gov and enter their information. Once we roll out the public emergency and community notifications, they will get the alerts and notifications too.
Help us keep you in the loop when it matters most.
