  • For the Record: Thanks to all who took our survey

    Last month Document and Micrographics Management (D&MM) conducted an online survey to help gauge customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for enhancements in 2017.  Thank you to everyone who participated.  

    recordsThe results were encouraging in many areas — the majority of respondents are pleased with our services and 74 percent know their assigned Records Coordinator.  

    While two of our better known functions – retention schedule management and box storage – are heavily utilized, the results indicate a desire for more training about electronic records management, email retention, and assistance in identifying records versus non-records.  

    Each of these topics will be on the agenda for our annual records training in June.  However, understanding that six months is a long time to wait, we will also be incorporating these subjects into future editions of eScoop.  

    In the meantime, departments are encouraged to contact D&MM to schedule a meeting to discuss these – or any other – record management issues.
