The Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner has completed autopsies on two people killed in a private aircraft crash at Tucson International Airport on Monday, Jan. 23.

The two killed in the crash were pilot Jeffrey Green, age 56 and passenger Daniel Rodriguez, age 38.  They were positively identified by dental comparison on Jan. 26, 2017.  Both died as result of blunt force and thermal injuries.

National Transportation Safety Board officials are investigating the cause of the crash.

The plane, a twin engine Beechcraft 300 Super King Air, crashed and came to a stop against a blast wall, shortly after taking off for a flight to Mexico.
