Like all situs addresses in Pima County (except for Marana and South Tucson), administrative parcel addresses are assigned by Pima County Development Services.
Administrative addresses are addresses assigned exclusively for the management of records and permits by Pima County. They are not used for any other purpose and generally aren't addresses that a property owner would use.
For instance, when a new subdivision is created, an administrative address may be assigned to be used for the whole subdivision project site while it is being developed and built. Once the subdivision is built-out, then the administrative address would have little, if any, use unless the address is part of a complex where the administrative address in addition to unit identifiers make up the individual addresses. In this subdivision example, the administrative address location may be mapped at the main entrance to the subdivision.
