Join Pima County Department of Environmental Quality at the Tucson Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 22, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the
Children’s Museum Tucson and Armory Park. Several Pima County departments will be there along with dozens of other exhibitors providing

hands-on fun and educational displays about various environmental topics.
Pima County departments have been involved with the
Tucson Earth Day Festival since its debut in Tucson 23 years ago as members of the event planning committee, sponsors and exhibitors.
The festival is free and open to the public. We encourage people to ride their bicycles to the event and park them at the free bike valet area. Alternatively, the
Sun Link Streetcar and Ronstadt Transit Center are only two blocks away.
What can you do at the Tucson Earth Day Festival?
Kids can ride the bike obstacle course and get a free bike helmet from the Pima County Bicycle and Pedestrian Program (while supplies last).
Learn how a Mini-HAWK light helps pedestrians and bicyclists get across the street safely.
Test your knowledge and discover interesting tidbits about Pima County’s air quality, urban animal interactions, what happens to water once it leaves your home, graffiti abatement, and flood safety.
Enjoy free admission to the Children’s Museum Tucson with a child.
Talk with staff from
Pima County Environmental Quality; Transportation; Flood Control District; Regional Wastewater Reclamation; and
Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation at their interactive educational displays and more.
