  • Read a draft of changes to paid-sick leave and minimum wage policy

Arizona voters approved an increase to the state’s minimum wage in November, bringing it to $10 per hour.

In addition to raising the minimum wage, the vote also instituted a right to paid sick leave. A proposed personnel policy change to reflect the sick leave policy changes is up for discussion at the Board of Supervisors June 6 meeting. If approved, the changes would take effect in Pima County as of June 25.

This link provides is a draft of an abridged list of changes. Please note the draft is subject to change and not effective prior to Board approval.
