  • Road safety project begins at Dodge Road Bridge and Rillito River Path

    Dodge RoadThe Pima County Department of Transportation and its contractor, Durazo Construction have begun a safety improvement project for bicyclists, pedestrians and motorists at Dodge Road Bridge at the Rillito River Path.

    Starting Tuesday, June 20, the contractor will install 3-inch raised crosswalks, thermal striping, and pedestrian and bike signage along the south and north sides of the Dodge Road bridge at the Rillito River Path. Work hours for this project will be from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

    Lane restrictions will be in effect. Flaggers may be onsite. The project is expected to last four weeks. Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.
