    Deferred CompThe Pima County Deferred Compensation Plan is offered by Nationwide under the Arizona State Retirement Systems (ASRS) Supplemental Salary Deferral Plan (SSDP). This plan allows you to contribute a portion of your salary to supplement retirement savings on a pre-tax basis.

    Section 457 Deferred compensation plans are designed to help you supplement your retirement income. The County does not match funds or make any contributions.

    Annual Minimum  $0
    Annual Maximum (under 50**) $20,500 
    Annual Maximum (age 50** and over) $27,000
    * The annual maximum is the combination of the pre-tax and post-tax elections.
    ** age is calculated as the last day of the plan year.
